The year was 2009 in this year we begin creating and selling customized party decorations.

As we were developing our party decor business and capturing images of our products and posting online we begin to build a wonderful fanbase that like our images and shared our business with others in their network with this type of organic support we were able to grow sell our business and services with a regular flow of orders.

At the time it was so amazing to develop something put it out on social media and begin to get inquiries and orders.

Who would have known that my love for crafting using construction paper , glue sticks & scissors would become a whole business and we have many years of success.

We will always be thankful for these humble beginning all of the clients that supported us by ordering our items and sharing our work with others for that we are grateful that we have this story to tell.

Building a Company From Scratch!

Just start.

So I want to create an e-course and e-book using the information I’ve gained over the years as it relates to starting my company. (Kustom Kreation Photography, The Kustom Shop)

I began my photography company by just taking pictures. I seized every opportunity to capture. I wanted to capture each and everything. I also figured in my head that most of the pictures I would take for people would have to be done on the weekends because most people I know worked during the week. Yep, so my availability for the weekend was wide open. Saturday and Sunday if at all necessary. Then I got to a point I figured because most of the work I was doing was social events. Clients wanted me for a couple of hours so I figured I would have time to squeeze at least 3 events in a day. I eventually was able to do so. That wasn’t something I did often, the way traffic is set up in Atlanta you will never know what it will take to get you there. So while I filled my calendar and allowed the years to go by… during the week.

As a self-sufficient entrepreneur, we decided we would solicit and create our custom party supplies during the week. So that is what we created… social events on the weekend and custom party supplies during the week. This has gone on for quite a number of years.

Kustom Celebration Decorations

Oh what a pivotal year this was so before we dive into it.. this major event change things for us totally.

When my Aunt called onto me to co host my cousins baby shower I was thrilled to be apart.

We put ideas together and we would meet plan and shop

My Aunt allowed me to have creative control and add all the little fun details.

So we were able to make the shower so cute.

So the day came shower was a success so what happened next and when something new in our business occurred After the shower one of the guest inquired about the décor and was interested in our supplies.

So they reached out to us and ask us about our décor packages.

At that time I just did stuff for my love to craft and create I had no décor packages or anything… so after the inquiry I reached out to my nephew (Antar) who assisted me in putting some packages together…

So just like that we added custom décor to our photography services

So we are now : Kustom Kreation Photography & Celebration DecorThe guest from my cousin shower booked us for décor and special event photography….Alright now we are on the move…

Flappy Dresses, designer head gear.. feathers pearls and boas all the details for a special 20’s theme birthday celebration.  The year was 2012 and in true style, Jade Ladson invited us to an intimate dinner party with friends at Brio! Fun Food & Lots of Laughter as we celebrated Jade.  We enjoyed great conversation, dinner and delicious desserts All guest came dressed in their best 20’s gear!

Jade is always planning something fun and amazing for her friends to celebrate with her!

Last year during a chat and chew meet up with a few of my friends I gifted each one of them with a gift box and scallop paper. Explaining to each one of them that I desire to give them a gift of their hearts. Not really knowing what that is for each one of them the small gift box and scallop paper represented that for me. I also gifted myself with the box as well. With careful thought when I think of desires of my heart I write it down and place it in the box.

I explain to the ladies to open up their boxes in about six months to see the manifestation of their gifts.

Remembering Yesterday- Wii Dance Party for the Kid in You!

They Year was 2011 and Wii was the hot video game system making way with all of the fun dance games to get you grooving. So this year for my birthday I had decided to invite friends over for some food fun & games. WII…

This was our Snack Food Bar… we had a variety of little snacks… pretzels, chips, cheese puffs, cookies and more…

Beverage Bar… and the children were trying to pour their own drink from the beverage dispenser

We have multiple TV’s and game consoles set up to provide areas for everyone to get their dancing in.

We were jamming trying to keep up….

Remembering Yesterday- America’s Top Model 12th Birthday Pool party

The year is 2010! My niece was turning 12! So what better way to celebrate you then a themed pool party. During this time America’s top Model was one of the top rated shows and we thought it would be great to incorporate this concept in a party collection.

For this intimate party of a few friends and family we created a mini candy bar and small beverage station and baked some cupcakes. Hot pink and Zebra was the exciting new trend for parties and we incorporated that color palette in our tablescape and centerpiece. Custom Box of Questions favors were given to her friends…

After Birthday wishes and a toast to the birthday girl guest enjoyed swimming for their entertainment.
