Prom Memories

It’s that time of year when all the young ladies and young men dress up and get ready for that special night! It’s prom season! We are always delighted when parents contact us to capture these pre-prom pictures of their children.

Prom has come such a long way from that the path from the dresses and suits to the makeup and hair jewelry and shoes. It’s an occasion to be remembered. With all the investment of time and fashions, you might as well invest in capturing memories of this time.

We came out by the lake to capture a few images of Pretty lady Kayla and her friend as they loaded up the limosine and headed off for their spectacular night of fun.

Prom Seasons… A Distant Memory

The year was 2007 and just the fall of the previous year we had picked up our camera and we were ready to take on the world and capture everything in it… So as time went on and opportunities presented themselves to us we were happy to oblige. Prom Season on any giving year begins in March and goes through May.

We were contacted by the parents in order to capture images of their son and his date on their way to senior prom. So delighted that we were able to offer our mobile studio services to this client. We arrive at the home in which it was a Pre Prom Party going on complete with all the family and food and the energy was super high. We set up in the living room with our standard gray backdrop and we had a white column that stood to about your thigh area.  As we placed the couple in a position we begin to capture images of this memorable occasion. I’ve just recently come by this memory of the past with my humble beginnings. I’m Thankful and Grateful for the journey and experiences that I’ve had to capture the many couples, family, and friends during their seasons of celebrations. It thrills me to connect with so many people and be apart of their life memories. Just like that its a memory at a distant.

This distant memory is now eleven years ago. I pray these two individuals went on to pursue their passion and dreams and are living a success and properous life.

We were totally excited when 1st lady (Monique (DonniNicole.com) called us to capture her daughter’s Adreiana Prom Slay Pre Prom Celebration . This event brought out all friends and family to eat fellowship & watch as Adreiana and her handsome Kendal date roll out to prom

Slay 1 Preparation

1st there was the preparation… We love this part..as it tells the story of the day.. We captured moments as she was getting her  makeup was done by her mom…

Slay 2 Details

It’s all in the details lots of effort and time is put into this part. Adreiana’s dress was  custom mad especially for her.. and beautiful sparkling shoes and accessories

Slay 3 The Date

… meanwhile while Adreiana was finishing up with her makeup Her date Kendal arrived and we headed out to capture moments of him by himself until it was time for her grand entrance. 

Slay 4 The Reveal

It was now time for the reveal . Once Adreiana walked in the room all the oohs and ahhs… A vision of loveliness as everyone admire how beautiful she looked all dressed and ready.  We all then headed outside to capture more portraits of  family and friends.

Beauty is Her Name… A Pre Prom Photo Session…

One of the most wonderful times of the year is Prom Season… You get a chance to see all the young ladies and young men get all dressed up for a night out on the town.. with school friends.

Looking so lovely we had the pleasure of capturing this beautiful lady… her name is Lyric (don’t you just love her name) She was preparing for her night out..

We started out capturing images of Lyric getting her makeup done as well as images of her dress shoes & accessories… 

Such a great spirit… Lyric’s energy was amazing as we were going around capturing many images… posed and candid

Toward the end of our time together we caught up with a few of her friends to capture moments of all of them together. They were then off for their night of fun!
