Getting Ready

We are preparing for a weekend trip and today was one of those day where we are working to get everything together and tie up as many loose ends as possible. We were able to treat ourselves to a pedicure and getting our eyebrows arched (which we were long overdue) My son and I made an appointment to the barbershop and last but not least we were able to make it to the beauty supply store to grab some braiding hair for our hair appointment tomorrow. As I sat at the variety places I had to go it gave me moments to sit down take a few deep breaths between each stop and be thankful that we are able to move around like we are and prepare to go away for a few short days.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed in preparing to go on a trip and getting everything in place to travel.

Memorial Day- The Gateway to Summer

Happy Memorial Day! We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend.

It’s been a great weekend and even better Memorial Day Holiday! This holiday is the gateway to summer.

With so many happenings during the month of May we have celebrated Mother’s Day, Graduations, and the ending of school for most. Now as we wrap up the month of May we are gearing up for summertime and all the activities that come with this season! Summer is one of my favorite seasons! Swimming Pools, Sun dresses, Vacations and more. We look forward to what Summer 2022 will bring!

Impromptu Gathering with Friends

Yesterday we received a message from our friend Kim, extended an invitation to join she and her family for some Bar B Q and to sit pool side and enjoy a relaxing Sunday. We happily accepted the invitation and we were able to join the family for some pool side chat food and we even had a small celebration for their grand baby. As we close out this Sunday we are so very grateful for such a wonderful weekend. Thankful for invites for Impromptu gatherings with friends!

A Day Late

A day late & A Dollar short. That is the term that comes to mind for me.

I’m currently participating in one hundred-day challenge. The challenge is doing something for the next 100 days. I have chosen to make a blog post every day. So far so good. Well up until I got up this morning feeling wonderful and good and realize I forgot to make a blog post yesterday! Say what??!!! I couldn’t believe I forgot…. I’ve been so committed to this process that I was mortified to realize I forgot. However, I’m here to make up for yesterday with this post! Our plates may get full and things that are on our list to do we can forget, but we are here and we are committed to this process. Although we are a day late on the post (I will backdate this to yesterday’s date) I’m still committed to the process. Here’s to the #100daydreamchallenge and staying committed to the challenge!

Well for us it has been…

For over a decade we’ve have been a special event photographer.

Birthday Parties , Anniversaries Baby showers Girls Night Out Workshops Conferences you name it we’ve captured. Being a special event photographer has so many perks. One thing you are indeed at a party like all the time. You also get to meet an array of beautiful people on the inside and out. You get a chance to visit many different venues. You see a variety of ideas and concepts for celebrations…. did I mentioned the food…. it’s seems like every event the hosts always wants to make sure you get a plate and eat!!! Next is the amazing dessert you get to experience all types of goodness from delicious cakes cupcakes brownies chocolate cover strawberries pretzels… you name it… we’ve captured… and one of the main experiences from being a social event photographer is the history that you are recording… â €
